1-8 1C and 2C set on the sides, turn partners BH once round in 2 bars then open out into circle left once round.
9-16 1C and 2C dance the knot. On the last 2 bars, 1C continue turning LH to end LS to LS 1W above 1M in the center ready for ...
17-24 1W and 2C, 1M and 3C RH across. 1C pass RS into 1W and 3C, 1M and 2C LH across. 1C end in 2nd place on own sides facing down.
25-32 2C, 1C, and 3C dance a grand chain, 2C crossing RH and 1C and 3C changing RH on the sides to begin.
Repeat.

I was reading books about the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893, a section of which was called the white city because of the color of the buildings and the extensive lighting.
