| I wanted to teach setting advancing in strathspey time and wrote this dance to illustrate setting advancing singly and as a couple. As I was thinking about writing a dance, I kept hearing Fill the Fetters in my head (one of my favorite strathspey tracks). The version I have is four-times-through, so this is a 4-couple set dance. It turned out to dance rather nicely and it accomplished what I hoped for. |
