|

|
1-4 |
1C cross RH and cast one place as 2C step up. |
5-8 |
1W turn 3M RH once round while 1M turn 3W LH once round. |
9-24 |
Double crossover mirror reels on the sides, beginning by 1C crossing up, 2C dancing out and down, and 3C dancing out and up. As each couple dances up through 2nd place, they cross up into 1st place. The reels are completed twice so all end up where they started the reel, in the order 2, 1, 3 with 1C on partner’s side. |
25-28 |
1W turn 2M RH once round while 1M turn 2W LH once round. |
29-32 |
1C cross RH and cast one place as 3C step up. End in order 2, 3, 1. |
Repeat 6 times, twice for each couple. |
Suggested music is Fire in the Rye from Jig for Joy by the Music Makars. |
This dance is a palindrome (if you take cross/cast as a single figure). I took the name from "a man, a plan, a canal, Panama!" |
