1C cast off and dance down the outside of the set. On bar 5 they turn inward and dance back up to 2nd place. 2C step up on bars 3-4. |
9-16 |
1C dance a full figure of eight up around 2C, ending in 2nd place on own sides facing down. |
17-24 |
Reels of three on the sides, 1C dancing in and down to start (left shoulder on the women’s side, right shoulder on the men’s side). 1C end passing left shoulders to face 1st corners. |
25-32 |
1C dance hello-goodbye setting to corners; on the last two bars they dance a petronella turn to 2nd place on own sides. |
Note: |
As a new couple casts off from first position, the old first couple (in third place) casts off to fourth place. |
Repeat. |
