1M followed by 1W cast off 1 place and across the set in 2^nd place to opposite sides. 1M end facing out. 2C set and dance up to 1^st place. 2M end facing out.

9-16

2C and 1C dance ladies' chain. 1M end facing out.

17-24

1C and 3C dance RH across. 1C and 2C dance LH across. 1M end facing out.

25-32

1M followed by 1W cast off behind 3W, across the set below 3C, and cast up behind 3M to 2^nd place on own side. 1W dance up the center to 2^nd place on own side. On the last 2 bars all set.

After the passing of Tom Smothers, I named a dance Crabs Walk Sideways in his honor and for a favorite bit he and his brother did. It was only logical that I write a companion dance Lobsters Walk Straight to go with it.
