1C turn RH once round and cast off 1 place as 2C step up. 1C turn LH 1½ to face 1^st corners.

9-16

1C dance a half diagonal reel of 4 with 1^st corners, pass RS to face 2^nd corners, and dance a half diagonal reel of 4 with 2^nd corners to end in 2^nd place on opposite sides.

17-24

3C, 1C, and 2C advance and retire then 1C dance half figures of 8, 1W down and 1M up. 1C end in 2^nd place on own sides.

25-32

Diagonal rights and lefts.

Repeat.

One evening I went outside after dark and the yard was filled with fireflies. I wanted to name this dance for them but already have several dances so themed. Then I found the Japanese name for fireflies and liked it, so I named this dance using that name.
