Note: This dance is deceptive as the figures are relatively easy, but starting with second couple can be challenging, especially starting the 3rd, 5th, and 7th times through.

The area where I live has several resident great horned owls that we can often hear hooting. One day I saw one back-lit in my next-door neighbor’s tree. A couple of days later, I heard and saw it there again and was able to take a picture. I love hearing them hoot to each other and was thrilled to actually see one.
