Bars

1-8

1C cast off down the outside of the set on own sides then cast back to 2^nd place. 2C step up on bars 3-4.

9-12

1C dance a half reel across the set giving LS to 1^st corners and end passing RS to face partner’s 1^st corner position.

13-16

1C dance a half reel on the sides giving RS to partner’s 1^st corner position.

17-20

1C dance a half reel across the set giving LS to 2^nd corner positions and end passing RS to face partner’s 2^nd corner position.

21-24

1C dance a half reel on the sides giving RS to partner’s 2^nd corner position and end in 2^nd place on own sides.

25-32

1C dance a half figure of 8, 1W down between 3C and 1M up between 2C to end in 2^nd place on opposite sides. 1C turn RH 1½ to end facing out on own sides ready to begin again.

Repeat.

Suggested music is Charlie’s Birthday from Les Joueurs de Bon Accord.

Note that 1C is dancing diagonal reels while corners are dancing half reels around the outside of the set. At the start of each half reel, corners dance into the set and 1C dances out of the set.
