Nearly a year ago we adopted a 14-year-old cat from a shelter wanting to give her a good home for her last years. We figured she’d be quiet but we were wrong; she races up and down the stairs, is very vocal when she wants to be fed or even when we walk by, and chews plastic bags and electrical cords when she feels we are ignoring her desires. We love her and find her amusing and are very glad we added her to our family.
