1-4

1C turn BH once round to open up facing down. 1C turn 2C (LH W's, RH M's) into a line across facing down with 1C in the middle.

5-8

1C and 2C dance down and turn right about to face up.

9-12

1C and 2C dance up. 2C end in 1^st place and 1C end facing up between 2C.

13-16

1C cast off 1 place and dance in to face 1^st corners.

17-24

1C dance corners pass and turn with 1^st corners, pass RS to face 2^nd corners, dance corners pass and turn with 2^nd corners, and pass RS to end facing down in 2^nd place on own sides.

25-32

2C, 1C, and 3C dance a grand chain, 2C cross RH to begin while 1C and 3C change places RH on the sides.

Repeat.

I have loved the song Migration from Ray Thomas’ Album Hope, Wishes, and Dreams. I was outside one day when the sandhill cranes were flying overhead squawking and in a double V formation. It reminded me of this line from the song.
