6X32 Reel for 3 couples
(Set Dance)

Bars

1-8

1C set, cast off 1 place and dance a half figure of 8 down between 3C. 2C step up on bars 3-4.

9-16

2C and 1C dance a ladies’ chain.

17-24

All set then 1C turn RH once round and dance a half figure of 8 up between 2C.

25-32

Crossover mirror reels of 3 on the sides, 1C crossing down between 3C to begin. As each couple reaches 2^nd position they cross down into 3^rd place. 3C ends the reel by crossing down and must be ready immediately to start as the 1^st couple.

Repeat with the set inverted. Dance 6 times through.

Suggested music is Fire in the Rye from Jig for Joy by The Music Makars.

I was intrigued by the idea of swapping ends of the set each time through a dance and wrote several dances to try it out. This is the reel.
