Bars
1-8	1C set, cast off 1 place, and dance a half figure of 8, 1W up between 2C and 1M down between 3C. 2C step up on bars 3-4.
9-12	1C take promenade hold with 1st corners (corners are on the left) and dance across the set, corners passing LS to LS. 1C drop RH with corners and corners turn them LH to 2nd place on own sides.
13-16	1C dance a half figure of 8, 1W down between 3rd place and 1M up between 1st place.
17-20	1C take promenade hold with 2nd corners (corners on the right) and dance across the set, corners passing RS to RS. 1C drop LH with corners and corners turn them RH to 2nd place on own sides.
21-24	1C turn LH once round.
25-32	Diagonal rights and lefts.
Repeat.

Farfalle is bow-tied shaped pasta and the figures in this dance are all bow ties. Also, farfalle means butterflies and we have Monarch butterflies in our yard.
