1C cross RH and cast off 1 place as 2C step up. 1C dance a half figure of 8, 1W down between 3C and 1M up between 2C. 1C end facing 1st corners. |
9-16 |
1C dance an allemande on the diagonal with 1st corners:
9-10 |
1C turn 1st corners into allemande hold by the RH. 1st corners end on the right of 1C. |
11-14 |
1C and 1st corners dance around the inside of the set CCW to the opposite corner position, 1C passing LS-LS. On bar 14, 1C turn 1st corners to face as in bar 6 of the allemande. |
15-16 |
1C turn LH to face 2nd corners. |

17-24 |
1C dance an allemande on the diagonal with 2nd corners. On the last 2 bars, 1C cross LH to 2nd place on opposite sides. |
25-32 |
Set and link for 3 couples twice. |

I had an idea for an allemande on the diagonal and wrote this dance to try it out. When dancing it, one of the dancers remarked that a set of tall, long-legged, excellent dancers might prefer to dance around the outside of the set rather than within it. |
