1-8

Crossover mirror reels on the sides, 1C cross down to begin.

9-16

1C cross RH and cast off 1 place as 2C dances up to face out.
Half reels on the sides, 1W giving LS to 3W and 1M giving RS to 3M to begin. 1C end LS to LS facing opposite sides.

17-20

1W dance RH across with 3C (at the top) while 1M dance RH across with 2C (at the bottom).

21-24

1W followed by 3W and 3M pass 1M LS and down the men’s side, across the bottom and up to 2^nd place (3C end in 3^rd place) while ^1M followed by 2M and 2W dance up the women’s side, across the top and down to 2^nd place (2C end in 1^st place). (snake pass figure) End 2, 1, 3.

25-32

All advance and retire then turn partners RH once round.

Repeat.

I’ve recently taken up bobbin lace and all bobbin lace is made with two movements: cross and twist.
