Bars  
1-8 1C cross RH and cast to 2nd place, then cross down between 3C and cast up behind 3C to end in the center of the dance, taking LH with partner and RH with 1st corners.
9-16 1C & 1st corners set, then 1C drop RH with 1st corners and set advancing to take RH with 2nd corners. 1C & 2nd corners set, then 1C turn LH to face out opposite sides in 2nd place.
17-24 1C dance reels of three with corners, beginning by giving LS to 2nd corners; 1C end facing 1st corners.
25-32 1C dance corner-pass-and-turn with 1st corners, pass RS in the center to face 2nd corners, dance corner-pass-and-turn with 2nd corners, and pass RS to 2nd place on own sides.
Repeat.

This dance honors Miss Betsy Ross, who sewed the original Stars and Stripes, with thirteen stars in a circle on a blue field and thirteen red and white stripes.
