1C cross RH and cast to 2^nd place, then cross down between 3C and cast up behind 3C to end in the center of the dance, taking LH with partner and RH with 1^st corners.

9-16

1C & 1^st corners set, then 1C drop RH with 1^st corners and set advancing to take RH with 2^nd corners. 1C & 2^nd corners set, then 1C turn LH to face out opposite sides in 2^nd place.

17-24

1C dance reels of three with corners, beginning by giving LS to 2^nd corners; 1C end facing 1^st corners.

25-32

1C dance corner-pass-and-turn with 1^st corners, pass RS in the center to face 2^nd corners, dance corner-pass-and-turn with 2^nd corners, and pass RS to 2^nd place on own sides.

Repeat.

This dance honors Miss Betsy Ross, who sewed the original Stars and Stripes, with thirteen stars in a circle on a blue field and thirteen red and white stripes.
