1C cross by RH, cast behind 2C, 2C stepping up, 1C dance ½ figure eight up around 2C. |
9-16

2C & 1C rights and lefts, ending with 1C casting to 3rd place as 3C dances up the middle to 2nd place. |
17-24 |
1C dance down the middle and back up, ending with 1C facing down with nearer hands joined making an arch and 4C facing up with nearer hands joined WHILE 2C & 3C dance bars 1-8. |
25-32

1C & 4C dance an inverted Rondel, 4C dancing up and under the arch made by 1C, 1C passing 4C in front when applicable; figure ending with 4C dancing up to 2nd place WHILE 3C & 2C dance bars 9-16. |
Repeat. Every 16 bars, the couple at the top starts dancing bars 1-8. The last time through this dance, on bars 17-32, only the couples in the 3rd and 4th positions dance. |
