Bars  
1-4 1C and 2C set advancing to pass partners LS and chase CW halfway around the set.
5-8 2C and 1C RH across once round.
9-12 1C and 3C LH across once round.
13-16 1C lead up (LH joined) between 2C and cast off 1 place to end facing 1st corners.
17-24 1C dance corners chain with 1st corners to end facing 2nd corners.
25-32 1C dance corners chain with 2nd corners to end in 2nd place on own sides.
Repeat.

Ammolite is a fossil of an ammonite and is found only in southern Alberta. It makes lovely jewelry and my husband bought me a piece and had it made into a necklace for me. Ammonite shells spiral out from the center and the figure in bars 1-8 seems to me to spiral.
