1C lead down the set. On bar 5 1W dances under their raised arms as 1M dances below to change sides and 1C lead back up to 2^nd place on opposite sides. 2C step up on bars 3-4.

9-12

1W turn 2M LH while 1M turn 2W RH.

13-16

1W turn 2W RH while 1M turn 3W LH.

17-20

1W turn 3W LH while 1M turn 3M RH.

21-24

1W turn 3M RH while 1M turn 2M LH. 1C end in the center facing the women’s side nearer hands joined, 1W on 1M’s right.

25-28

1C dance out and 1M cross 1W in front of him. 1W dance up around 2W while 1M dance down around 3W. 1C meet in the center facing men’s side and take promenade hold.

29-32

1C dance out between 2M and 3W and around 3M. 1M lead 1W to her own side LH. 3C step up on bars 1-2 of the phrase. The order is 2, 3, 1.

Note that in bars 9-24, 1M is progressing around the set CW turning corners in order and 1W is following one corner position behind him.

The women in my class are generally not shy and Michael is a favorite dancer in the class. At one time we found ourselves dancing in a set of 5 women and Michael. That same class we had danced to the music Feisty Women and I was tasked with writing a dance with this name.
