Bars  
1-8 1C, 2C, and 3C dance mirror reels on the sides, 1C dancing in and down to begin. 1C & 2C end in the center in promenade hold facing up.
9-16 1C and 2C allemande.
17-24 1C and 3C set advancing to pass partners LS.
1M and 3M, 1W and 3W turn BH once round on the sides opening into a circle and circle left halfway.
3C and 1C set on the sides.
25-32 1C turn BH once round, cast up behind 3C, dance up between 2C, and cast off to 2nd place on own sides. 3C step down on bars 5-6 of the phrase.
Repeat.

In 1976 I saw Pacific Overtures on Broadway and loved it. This dance is named for one the songs in the musical.
