4 couple square dance
Bars  
1-8 First and third couples dance a half ladies’ chain, then half rights and lefts to end with first couple facing fourth couple and third couple facing second couple.
9-16 All dance reels of four across the dance.
17-24 First and fourth couples, third and second couples set and dance right hands across halfway, then chase clockwise, led by second and fourth men, to end in order 4, 3, 2, 1. (All chase clockwise around the smaller circle until they reach the larger circle, then chase clockwise along the larger circle.)
25-32 Circle eight hands to the left and back.
33-40 All turn partners by right hand to turn women into the center. Women dance left hands across halfway as the men chase clockwise one position. Women turn the man they meet right hand to turn the men into left hands across halfway as the women chase clockwise one position. Men release hands about a half-bar before the end of the phrase to curve into place. End in the order 3, 2, 1, 4.
41-48 Third and first couples advance and retire, then dance back-to-back with person opposite.
49-56 Second and fourth couples repeat bars 41-48.
57-64 All turn partners by left hand to turn men into the center. Men dance right hands across halfway as the women chase counter-clockwise one position. Men turn the woman they meet left hand to turn the women into right hands across halfway as the men chase counter-clockwise one position. Women release hands about a half-bar before the end of the phrase to curve into place. End in the order 4, 3, 2, 1.
65-96 Fourth and second couples repeat bars 1-32.
